Custard Pie cultivates since 2012 the memory of a vintage, groovy and energetic funk in the tradition of its glorious elders. The music of James Brown, Tower of Power, Funkadelic and the Meters clearly make up the band’s DNA. This turbulent orchestra of 9 musicians, based in Alsace (France), has been able to upset given ideas and create an efficient power funk.

In 2021, Custard Pie wrote and produced a 4 tracks EP “Trade your soul”.

The writing is singular, enriched with 80's, rock and rap elements, but retains what constitutes its signature, energy and efficiency.
